ILC International Legal Consultants was founded in 2000 as the first Swiss law firm in the U.A.E. ILC are closely associated to Ritter Attorneys-at-Law. ILC benefit from the strong international network and partnerships of Ritter Attorneys-at-Law with regard to all legal and business related matters.
In 2005, ILC established a sister company under the name Swiss International legal Consultants Limited in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). It was the first law firm which was accepted in the DIFC. It provides legal services to financial institutions, which are situated in the DIFC. In addition, it offers compliance services, to companies, which want to outsource their compliance needs.
The main office of ILC in Dubai is located in Deira. They serve local and international corporate and private clients with regard to all legal and commercial aspects, in particular with regard to the U.A.E., the Middle and the Far East. As an internationally oriented law firm, ILC handle in particular all aspects of Swiss and International Civil, Commercial and Banking Law and provide legal, administrative and business services to corporate and private clients from the U.A.E. and from all over the world.
ILC assist international and, in particular, Swiss companies to establish and build up regional offices or headquarters in the U.A.E. and to improve their business activities in the region. ILC are also advisors to local businesses and companies and assist them in their international expansion, in particular with regard to Europe, the Americas and the Far East. In the U.A.E., ILC as legal consultants do not represent clients in court but have close relationships to local barristers throughout the U.A.E. The ILC team consists of highly qualified practitioners who have acquired their experience through years of legal consulting and litigation and also in prior positions with major international law firms.
ILC combines an intimate knowledge of the region's economic environment with a wealth of experience in complicated cross-border transactions, including both inbound and outbound investment.
